Day 1 of the 365 Day Green Challenge
Today I officially kick off the Green Challenge, and what better way than having a written plan of action. So for Day 1 I will set my intention by writing down my Green goals...I will start with more manageable easy short-term goals and then make a separate list with my overall long-term goals.

So why is writing down your goals so important?

1. It becomes a written contract to yourself which usually sparks motivation within you to achieve them.

2. Writing them down helps you to define your objectives more clearly and encourages you to state your plans in a more detailed way.

3. It frees your mind from having to 'remember' what your goals were to begin with. You can always refer back to your list.

4. It encourages motivation and helps you to stay on course and gives you a sense of accomplishment when you complete a goal.

I challenge everyone who is participating in the Green Challenge to write down your short and long term goals and how you plan to accomplish these goals...If your plan is to eat organic food only...then write down this as your long-term goal, but make sure to write down short-term goals that will help you to reach this objective. If you are on a limited budget, as I am, make small manageable goals and graduate up to more extensive goals.

you take your eyes off the goal~

Start today, write down your Green goals in a notebook and read over your goals daily and have a plan and you can't go wrong! Good Luck future Greenies!

Love and Light,
Nirvani
